Fourteen the square, Rhynie has seen a number of changes over the years.  Many residents of the village and surrounding community remember it as the "Spar" shop.  For many years it was also the home of "Funcy Pieces", a well loved local tea shop.  After a few years of being the public face of one of our local businesses (G R C AquaTech), a move to larger premises once again left fourteen on the market.  Just as it was going to market, the members of Noth Church of Scotland were coming to the conclusion that their existing meeting place, Hamilton Hall in Kennethmont, was not meeting the needs of the church or community.  Just as the decisions was taken to sell Hamilton Hall, GRC Aquatech moved out, and a decision was taken to explore the very real possibility that this would meet the needs of the community in a why which Hamilton Hall could no longer do.  The rest I suppose is now history!
After lots of hard work from members of the church fourteen had its official opening in September 2011.
Hamilton Hall served Kennethmont Parish church and then Noth Parish for many years thanks to the original bequest from Mr Henderson.  We hope to be able to tell the story of Mr Henderson, of Hamilton Hall, and of fourteen the square in greater detail in due course.

Fourteen is available for hire by groups, private functions meetings etc.

£5/hour for groups and meetings
